Chelsea v Manchester City – FA Cup preview

It’s the FA Cup fifth round this weekend, and things are beginning to get very interesting.

There’s 16 teams remaining in the famous cup competition, with the biggest game of the weekend arguably being Sunday’s match; Chelsea v Manchester City.

Chelsea, seven-time-winners of the FA Cup, take on Premier League rivals Manchester City at Stamford Bridge, and will  be looking to capitalise on their recent good form.

The Blues return home following a resilient display against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, with Guus Hiddink’s men narrowly losing 2-1 to the Ligue 1 leaders.

Manchester City have had a couple of weeks that they’ll be eager to forget. Manuel Pellegrini’s side have lost recent Premier League matches against title-rivals Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur, and will hoping to turn the tide on their flailing season with a decent run in the FA Cup.
